Let Us Rise Up and Build.

About the building

Before the end of 2025 we hope to break ground on an 11,000 square-foot building on our 5.7 acre property on North Clifton Road in Frederick. It will be situated next to the chapel currently on the property. The sanctuary will be characterized by a simple dignity focusing on the centrality of God’s Word in worship.

Benefits of a Church Building

At Good News Presbyterian Church, we recognize the importance of having a physical building for our congregation. It serves not only as a place for worship and fellowship, but also as a gathering place for the community.

  1. A visible presence in the community. — A visible presence in the community attracts both new seekers and existing members, fostering connections and spreading the love and teachings of our faith to enrich lives and neighborhoods alike.

  2. A center for outreach ministries. — Having a church building will allow us to host more programs such as after school clubs for kids, evangelistic Bible studies, homeschool groups, and our Soccer and Bible Camps.

  3. A gathering place for meetings, fellowship meals, Bible studies, and informal get-togethers as well as a place to meet up with other church members during the week.

  4. A schoolhouse for discipleship with rooms for children’s, youth and adult studies and activities.

  5. A permanent church home that will guarantee us a place of worship and fellowship for generations to come.
