Children & Youth
About Children's Ministry
We strive to nurture children in the Christian faith and to equip parents to raise their children to know and follow Jesus Christ.
We offer content rich Sunday school classes for all ages taught by biblically grounded, caring teachers.
A nursery is provided during the Sunday school hour and worship service.
While we encourage parents to include their children in the worship assembly at the earliest reasonable age, we do offer worship training as an option for 4-7 year-olds during the second part of our Sunday worship service.
Youth Group
On the first, third and fifth Sundays, 3:30-5:00 p.m., we have a grades 7-12 youth group. We meet in the gym at Frederick Christian Academy, 6642 Carpenter Road, Frederick. We play a game, sing songs, have a Bible lesson, and make new friends. Our youth also have a monthly fellowship activity, retreats, and a summer mission trip. We seek to offer young people opportunities to fellowship with one another while keeping them integrated into the larger congregation. After School Bible Club
Our church leads a Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club on Wednesdays at a local elementary school (cefmaryland.org/good-news-club) during the school year. Over 90 children attend this wonderful outreach.
Soccer and Bible Camp
Each summer our church hosts a soccer and Bible camp in Frederick.
