We seek to worship God in a way that is joyful, reverent, and God-centered. Because God
is pleased to work through Scripture to transform lives (Hebrews 4:12), our pastor preaches through books
of the Bible and seeks to equip members to understand and apply the Scriptures on their own. We aim to
worship in a way that is meaningful and intelligable to those without a Christian background. As one of
our new members put it, "I appreciate being able to go to a church that opens the Bible and helps us
understand it without making us feel inadequate."

Some dress up and others dress casually. You won't be judged by your
clothes. Just come!
We sing songs that center on God's character and works. Most of the songs are the classic hymns of the
faith; some are more contemporary; some are psalms.
We certainly are. Our pastor, Peter Kemeny, usually alternates series between the Old and
the New Testaments. You can follow along in your Bible as he explains the text and how we can apply it to
our lives.
We have Sunday school and offer a nursery during the worship service. We also have a
children's sermon and children's church. We strive to nurture children in the Christian faith and to
equip parents to raise up their children in a godly manner.
The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church is a Bible-based, evangelical family of
believers founded in 1782. Today the ARP Church has over 260 congregations in the United States. Our
missions agency, World Witness, supports church planting, teaching, community development, and medical
missions in Mexico, Pakistan, Korea, Wales, Germany, Russia, Brazil and Turkey. World Witness also works
with other mission agencies in sending missionaries elsewhere. Erskine College, in Due West, South
Carolina, is the highest ranked Christian school in the South, according to U.S. News and World Report.
The beliefs of the ARP Church are virtually identical to that of our two sister denominations, the
Presbyterian Church in America and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
